Tina: What are you reading, James?
James: Good morning, Tina. I’m reading Runner’s Race*. It’s a magazine about running.
Tina: Are you a big runner?
James: Sure. I run a few times a week.
Tina: One of my friends runs a lot. He competes in races all around the country.
James: Does he run marathons?
Tina: No. But he runs 5Ks, 10Ks and half marathons.

Susie: Those are nice running shoes.
James: Thanks, Susie. I bought them at the mall* yesterday. I’m doing a lot of running these days.
Susie: Nice. Are you training for something?
James: Yes. I’m training for a charity race next month. It's for the Children’s Hospital*.
Susie: Will you win a prize?
James: That’s not likely, because I don’t run very fast. But I’ll have fun.
